Bespoke Commissions
We offer bespoke commissions for private clients, such as gifts or wedding signs, in a range of styles and sizes. We can work with an existing design or create something special for you or a loved one. Below are some recommended sizes and previous examples:
1. 20 x 60cm – This is the smallest size we can work with. This is a great size for one word, short phrase, two names for a wedding or family name. Example: “The Wilsons”
2. 40 x 100cm. A slightly larger piece. This works for a longer phrase or a design which incorporates many lettering effects like 3Ds and shadow work, or includes illustrations such as florals or filigrees around the words. Example: “Ice Cream is Too Fancy for Me”
3. Larger than 100cm in either height or width is considered a large painting, that would create a real centre piece in a home. This would be the ideal size for a large space with a longer phrase or statement message.
All our signs are made with high quality ply with a simple, clean finish. If you’re interested in a particular wood or more decorative look, then please let us know and we can consult with our preferred Glasgow based carpenters.

2. A few examples of our or other artists’ work that you like the style of, or wedding stationery that you'd like it to match with
3. Include a colour palette if you have one
We will then decide which painter the commission is most suited for before sending a rough quote and timescale.
