Bespoke Commissions
We offer bespoke commissions for private clients, such as gifts or wedding signs, in a range of styles and sizes, on wood, glass or most other hard surfaces. We can work with an existing design or create something special for you or a loved one. Below are some recommended size guides and previous examples.
All our wooden signs are made with high quality ply with a simple, clean finish. If you’re interested in a particular wood or more decorative look, then please let us know and we can consult with our preferred Glasgow based carpenters.
Examples of our small commission size & style:
This is the smallest size we can work with at approximately 20 x 60cm.
This is a great size for one word, short phrase or family name.
Examples of our 'medium' commission size & style:
This can be up to 40 x 100cm.
This works for a longer phrase or a design which incorporates many lettering effects like 3Ds and shadow work, cut out or includes illustrations such as florals or filigrees around the words.
Examples of our 'large' commission size & style:
Over the above size would create a real centre piece in a home. This would be the ideal size for a large space with a longer phrase or statement message. We can also paint or gild onto mirrors, frames or homeware or furniture!
Examples of our Wedding commissions:
A beautiful sign to welcome your guests and a keepsake from the special day. We can use existing designs from wedding stationary or design something with your colour palette and style. Your names/married name and the date, or an order of the day board!
